Earl Grey

First seen in the early 1800's, Earl Grey tea is a delicious blend of various black teas flavored with delicious bergamot oil. It was invented to imitate more expensive Chinese teas, but ended up becoming its own, very popular blend of tea. It's used in all kinds of confections, including chocolates as well as a mixer for delicious alcoholic libations! To prepare the best cup of Earl Grey is it recommended to start with cold water in a non-reactive pot and bring the water to 208 degrees (just below the boiling point). It is also recommended to pre-warm your tea cup prior to adding your tea. Recommended steeping time is 3 to 5 minutes depending on your taste. It is also recommended to serve this delightful tea with a wedge of freshly cut lemon and sugar to taste. Some people also enjoy adding a splash of milk. Other Starfleet captains like it "hot". Earl Grey is a bright silver metallic shadow (with real metal alloy for maximum metallic sheen) with a very strong and bright aqua-turquoise color shifting sheen and a hefty pinch of aqua-blue-purple and light lavender color shifting sparkle. Since Earl Grey contains metal alloy, please use caution if you have any metal sensitivities. Earl Grey is also not lip safe and should not be used mixed with water. Please use a mixing medium to foil this shadow. This gorgeous metallic shadow really amps up a smoky eye, and look gorgeous used over a black base.
